THE HOBOKEN KARATE ACADEMY CLASS SCHEDULE

Children's Karate Classes: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday,  5:30 - 6:30 P.M.

Adult Karate Classes: Monday through Thursday, 7:40 - 9:00 P.M.

Aerobic Kickboxing Classes: Monday through Thursday,  6:30 -7:30 P.M.

Sensei Rentas has been a law enforcement officer for 23 years. He is a certified instructor through the state of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety, Police Training Commission. Sensei Rentas is a police trainer for the Hoboken Police Department and has also trained the law enforcement personnel for the Bergen County Police Academy.

Sensei Rentas is a D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) instructor, and a Certified Fitness Instructor through the Cooper Institute in Dallas Texas.

In 1966 Kyoshi Antonio Rentas was 16 years old when he began his martial arts training in the Bronx, New York City. In 1977 he started his studies with Master Chaka Zula, and he remains a student of Master Zula to this day.

In 1978 Sensei Rentas began is personal tutelage under Grand-Master Peter Urban, and is today a Shichidan (7th degree, Black Belt) in the Urban Gojudo organization.

Besides his 8th degree Senior-Kyoshi Black Belt in Urban Gojudo, Sensei Rentas holds a 5th degree Black Belt in Zujitsu-Ryu, a Shodan in Bushido-Ryu, and 1st kyu in Judo under Master Jose Amato (deceased-8/01).
