URBAN CUP / URBAN LEGACY 2006
There are multiple pages to this presentation so don't miss any of them...
and the latest photo additions, are on the last pages of this presentation.

The 1st Urban Cup /Urban Legacy 2006
Held in New York City, New York

Jim Kelley sent these photo's of his daughter Catherine, who participated in the 6-7 year old beginners ring.
Catherine (she is a yellow belt now),  is a member of  the R.K.A. Dojo in Bridgeport, CT under the guidance of Kyoshi Hector Rodriguez.

Sort of verifies that practice does indeed make perfect.

You can not buy this type of positive experience for your children!
Yes, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies are terrific, BUT, even the children on the back row
standing proudly at attention during the awards ceremony WERE WINNERS!!
They showed up to class, they showed up to participate, they preformed (with fear and trembling)
in front of those adult black belt judges...and THEY WON because they WERE THERE!
