-1975 Studied American Dragon Horse Goju under Sensei David McConnell
-1993, began to study under Grand Master Peter Urban

-1982 N.E.A.A.U. Grand Champion in Kata and Weapons
-1982 Region ranked #1 by Karate Illustrated
-1985 Senior Men’s Kumite Grand Champion

-Elected to N.E.A.A.U. National Team 7 years in a row
-2000 Recipiant of the "E" Flag at the NYC Urban Cup Karate Championships
