In attendance was Maestro’s daughter, Julia Urban Kimmerley, amongst many Great Martial Arts Masters, some direct hands on students of Maestro Urban, many of whom are heads of their own Goju style of play. There was a meeting called by the “College of Dans” to discuss the future of Goju world wide. I am not going to report on what went on in the Grandmaster’s meeting, but what I observed during the course of the day. No names will be used as my intention is not to offend or belittle any group or individuals. I feel the meeting lacked an accurate representation of the Urban Gojudo fight schools network. As I looked around I noticed there was a clear absence of students as well as Sensei’s and Grandmasters were in fact not wearing the Official “ Urban Gojudo USA Fight Schools network “ and the sacred emblem of the “Crimson G Patch” The dues paying good guys who do the right thing in the traditional manner. Maestro set up the blueprint for the further advancement and development of the “ Urban Gojudo System “ It is up to us who are Urban Goju loyalists, and official web site members of his financial supporters. As Maestro once stated in a newsletter that he had cleaned house and had designated his Goju Halls Numbers to be used to identify his loyal followers. These Goju Hall numbered Sensei’s he trusted to carry on his Legacy. Approximately numbering 50 Dojo’s, again dues paying members, some of which are listed on the Official James Price’s web site, as appointed by Maestro himself as an “Untouchable” That is the point of reference to represent his life’s work and ultimate conclusions. The 10 minimum standardized Kata of his literacy program, which he was so proud of and expected of all to adhere to. I think some of you know where I am going with this. There are many branches of Maestro’s lineage, these are Grandmasters of their own style and organizations. They are the Soke or heads of family. These great masters are not going to change their patch or methodology of teaching, that is fine as they have done so with Maestro’s blessing. He (Maestro Urban) intended for them to be heads of their own styles. Now where does that leave the rest of us who have registered Goju Halls under his leadership while he was alive? We the Urban Loyalists have to continue with his blueprint as to who and what is to proceed after he has reunited with his Sensei’s on the other side in the kingdom of God. To me there is no confusion as to what Maestro wanted for the good of us all. Maestro begat all American Goju Systems, and eventually to evolve to Urban Gojudo world wide. This can happen if we work and “Network” with each other as he intended. In his last will and testament he clearly stated as to who will represent each region of the USA and abroad. That alone supersedes all previous appointments as this was his will. Many through out the years have left him and went on to found their own systems. At the time of his passing, he made clear to me two things, continue the work and take care of his daughter and heir Julia Urban Kimmerley. I propose that we the loyalists do just that, make sure that his heir and loving daughter be taken care of. We paid Maestro yearly dues and some of those dues should go to Julia, again his rightful heir. I suggest the sum of $100 dollars per year be paid to her. This is a voluntary commitment as Julia would not be comfortable with being paid any monies if they were not to be given voluntarily and cheerfully. This decision is up to your conscience and yours alone. Each and every Goju Hall should consider my recommendation and act accordingly. This is one point that I wanted to make clear. Now other business, I am under the understanding that the Goju Halls should and must wear somewhere on their Gi’s the Official Patches of his beloved network, if these patches are not worn then you are not an Urban Loyalist. Are you getting my point? As I stated in the opening of my observations, with all the different branches of those who claim to be loyal to him and the organization, were not wearing his patch, to me that is an outrage, how can you call yourself a loyalist if you are not wearing the, again, “OFFICIAL PATCH” I am a realist and know that many of you guys and gals will be offended by this written statement, as I know that some of you will be in total agreement with my observations. I say to you, You can not make everyone happy.

The official webmaster, “Untouchable” Ole reliable Professor James Price keeps his web site updated frequently. This letter will go to him, if he chooses to post it and pass it on to all the listed Goju Halls will be his decision. I strongly recommend that he post this and forward to all that are listed on the web site, so that they may know what is going on in Gojulandia International. I will take the heat for all my remarks and stand by them. These are my opinions and mine alone, if hate mail is to be sent, send it to me. If you agree I would also like to hear from you. Time to take a stand and declare yourself as a true loyalist and keep Maestro’s teachings alive or follow your own paths. Not every Goju Hall is operated by a Hanshi or Shihan but by the sensei’s that Maestro put his trust in. Are you going to disappoint him or will you respect his last wishes? I realize that not all could attend the Urban Cup Legacy tournament, but you opinions and input are as important as anyone else’s. We all have a vote in the process, and we rule by majority vote. As the appointed representative of Gojulandia North I would be remiss in my duty not to bring this all to an open forum. I have stated my position and declaration, now it is time for you to be heard.
